Several distances ranging from 33 miles to 59 miles, pretty hilly by HBC standards. Rest stops in Independence and Burton. Optional loop to Lake Somerville if you wish to add some miles.
Start: To get to the start, take Hwy. 290 northwest and keep going past Hempstead, past Chappell Hill, and then another 10-12 miles to Brenham. Follow signs to Blinn College. Park in the lot on College Street at the college.
