We will start our Urban Exploration Ride from Stude Park again, which is on Usener Street in the Heights. This is the same place where the Houston Sans Car rides start. The nearest major cross streets are Studemont and White Oak Drive.
This week we will be heading east, checking out some of the neighborhoods and sights on the east side of town. Total distance will be around thirty miles at an average pace of 14 to15 mph. This is a leader led group ride, so no one gets dropped. We will plan for one rest stop with food options at the halfway point, but we can stop for a second rest stop on the way back if needed. The ride starts at 8:30.
