One of our prettiest rides. Routes of 37, 42 and 51 miles through scenic, rolling countryside. Good roads and pretty scenery, very little traffic. Short route goes to Fayetteville and back. Be sure to spend some time at the beautiful Fayetteville town square.
To get there, go about 75 miles west on I-10 to US-90/Columbus exit, take Hwy 71 and cross the bridge over the Colorado river to the split of Hwy 71 and FM 109, take FM-109 North to Brunes-Mill Rd, left turn there and then there is a grassy area open for parking on the side of the road. We start from there to avoid ugly FM-109.
