To get there, take Highway 290 from Houston, go about 65 miles (12 miles past Hempstead) until you come to the flashing light at the intersection of Hwy. 290 and FM 1155. There's a sign there that says "Chappell Hill" to the right. Turn right on FM 1155 and go about 1 mile to the center of town. Turn right on Poplar. We are now parking in the empty lot on Poplar just a block from Main Street. Not a pay lot, but there is a donation box if you feel generous. Rest rooms available.
