NOTE: Sunday ride, 9am start
This route stays west of the older Chappell Hill routes, going as far west as Brenham. This is a very pretty ride with some pretty challenging hills. Routes of 35, 43 and 48 miles. Rest stops at stores in Brenham (all routes) and Independence (43,48). To get there, take Highway 290 from Houston, go about 65 miles (12 miles past Hempstead) until you come to the flashing light at the intersection of Hwy. 290 and FM 1155. There's a sign there that says "Chappell Hill" to the right. Turn right on FM 1155 and go about 1 mile to the center of town. Turn right on Poplar. We are now parking in the empty lot on Poplar just behind the restrooms.
